I am James Hopson

I'm a dual-national, hardworking, passionate and well organised person. I’m good at working in a team and have excellent mediation skills which proved very useful in working with other students during the 3 year film-production course I attended at University of Gloucestershire.

The areas that currently attract me the most are video editing and production design. 

I have already a fair amount of work experience and developed an excellent ability to understand customer needs, having worked for a company such as Outfittery.de, the largest personal shopping service for men in Europe. They were so pleased with my work that they asked me to undertake other projects.

Through word-of-mouth these projects led to an ongoing contract with an Italian company, Develhope, for editing work on their software development courses.

I regularly use Premiere Pro and Avid. In my private life I enjoy traveling and filming; for example I made a short documentary about the protests in Beirut a couple of years ago.

I'm also a Passionate musician, which helps a lot in the editing environment, thanks to my capacity to mix well audio with images.
